For instance, a doctor can use ChatGPT to ask questions. Similarly, your math teacher may be using ChatGPT for preparing exams. Or your class topper will also be using it.
But here comes a question.
Why are people asking so many questions on ChatGPT?
Is ChatGPT ideally built for answering questions?
The answer is yes.

What Online AI Tools are out there?
If you’ll ask ChatGPT how many moves you need to complete a Rubix cube, it will answer as well as explain it so that you know it. But, is ChatGPT the best AI tool for asking questions?
For many people, yes. ChatGPT is the greatest, but for many, it isn’t. No online tool can be 100% accurate and authentic, and since there are a lot of generative AI tools, opinions and preferences can vary.
There are a lot of other online tools that people are using for assistance, such as:
- Google’s Gemini,
- Antropic’s Claude AI,
- Copilot, and many others.
In this article, I will compare the workings of ChatGPT and its AI answer generator.
But this isn’t an article where I am promoting a fairly new AI tool with a claim that it is better than ChatGPT.
That’s not my point, and I just wanted to write that while ChatGPT is amazing, there’s some gaps that other tools can fill better.
Now let’s rephrase the question again.
Is ChatGPT the best AI tool for asking questions?
No, I’m a Claude AI user, and it provides me with better answers that are easier for me to understand.
Or, I am a Gemini user, and ChatGPT can’t provide the answers that I am looking for.
Is there any other tool for asking questions? Why do we use them instead of generative AI tools?
Generative AI tools are ideally built for your assistance. It means if you have a query, you can use any of the generative AI tools for assistance.
For instance, you can use an AI search engine to ask questions and receive updated, summarized answers
But a major downfall is that almost all the generative AI tools have the data until 2021. We’ve come a long way since then.
If you’ll ask the generative AI tool “Who is the Current UFC Champion?” you might get “Khabib Nurmagomedov” as the champion while it’s been 3 years since he retired.
This is the main issue with the generative AI tools.
Now, a lot of people use generative AI tools for marketing, coding, and other things. Since these tools don’t have that latest data, they can’t provide you with the right answers.
Why use an AI answer generator?

While generative AI tools can’t properly answer your questions, an AI answer generator can be extremely helpful in this regard.
Now, I will use ChatGPT and an AI answer generator to ask some questions.
Using ChatGPT for asking questions
I opened ChatGPT and asked:
- Who is the president of the USA?
- Who is the prime minister of Bangladesh?
- Who is the prime minister of Pakistan?
These are the answers by ChatGPT:
- The current President of the United States is Joe Biden. He has been serving as the 46th president since January 20, 2021.
- The current Prime Minister of Bangladesh is Sheikh Hasina. She has been serving as the Prime Minister since January 6, 2009, and she is the leader of the Bangladesh Awami League. Sheikh Hasina has held the position multiple times, with her most recent term starting in 2019.
- The current Prime Minister of Pakistan is Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. He assumed office as the caretaker Prime Minister on August 14, 2023. His primary role is to oversee the government until the next general elections are held.
Out of these three questions, two answers are incorrect, while the only true answer is related to the president of the USA. This is because Joe Biden has been there for 3 and a half years while the other two are not in office.
Sheikh Hasina isn’t the prime minister of Bangladesh while it’s been 8 months since Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar left the office and the new prime minister is Shahbaz Sharif.
Let’s ask the same questions from the AI answer generator.
I opened the AI answer generator and asked these questions:
- Who is the president of the USA
- Who is the prime minister of Bangladesh?
- Who is the prime minister of Pakistan?
These are the same questions I earlier asked from ChatGPT. And here are the answers to these questions.
- As of October 2021, the President of the United States is Joe Biden.
- Sheikh Hasina Wajid recently resigned, and currently there’s no prime minister in Bangladesh.
- Shahbaz Sharif is the new prime minister of Pakistan, as his party won the general elections in February 2024.
You can see that all the answers are correct. ChatGPT only had one correct answer while the AI answer generator gave 3/3 correct answers.
Now, I will ask another question from ChatGPT. My question is “is pasta good for health?”

This question aimed to find out if pasta is good for health quickly. Instead of giving a direct answer, ChatGPT started explaining the benefits, use cases, and considerations while the AI answer generator briefly answered the question.
In this regard, I can say both are accurate, but I would go with the answer of the AI answer generator.
It is because my intention wasn’t to find the benefits of eating pasta or in which circumstances I can eat. I just wanted a straight answer, whether it is good for health or not.

For instance, I use Claude whenever I want to use AI for writing assistance. I use Google’s Gemini for doing research. And I use ChatGPT for brainstorming ideas.
I do not use ChatGPT as a search engine because I know that ChatGPT can hallucinate and provide incorrect information while being confident. Instead, using Google as the search engine is a more appropriate thing to do.
